Short and without fine print: what Vir is, what it isn't, and what you're responsible for when you head out on the water.
What Vir is
Vir is an informational app for anglers — it helps you judge conditions, keep a catch diary and find a spot on the water. Vir is available as is, with no guarantee that every piece of information will be accurate, complete or available at every moment.
By using the app you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use the app.
Scores, forecasts and river levels are estimates
The fish-activity score is a computed estimate, not a prediction. The weather forecast and river levels come from third parties — the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia and MET Norway — and can be inaccurate, rounded or shown with a delay.
Never rely on the app for safety decisions
Vir is not a system for navigation on the water, a rescue service or an emergency warning system. Flood levels, ice, navigation and severe weather — for those, follow the official notices and warnings of RHMZ and the competent services, not Vir.
Regulations are your responsibility
The fish guide, closed seasons and minimum sizes in the app are a reference aid — they can be incomplete or out of date and don't replace official regulations. You are responsible for your fishing permit and for respecting closed seasons, minimum sizes and the rules of the specific fishing area. When in doubt, check with the fishery manager or the competent authority.
Vir Premium
Vir Premium is available as a yearly subscription or as a lifetime, one-time purchase. Prices are shown in the store in your local currency.
The yearly subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it in the account settings of the store where the purchase was made; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. The lifetime purchase is charged once and doesn't renew. "Lifetime" means for as long as Vir is available in the stores: your Premium never expires, but the purchase doesn't oblige us to maintain the app forever. Refunds follow the rules of the store where the purchase was made.
Content and copyright
The Vir name, the app's design and the content made by the app's owner belong to the app's owner. Third-party data keeps its licenses — maps are © OpenStreetMap contributors, river levels come from RHMZ of Serbia, the forecast from MET Norway.
Your catches, photos and notes stay yours — they live on your phone and we don't access them. More on the Privacypage.

We may change these terms. The current version is always this page, with the date at the top; if you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new version.
To the extent the law allows, Vir takes no responsibility for decisions you make relying on information in the app. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia; if you live in the EU, you keep the protection your country's regulations give you.
